Blobber Terms of Use

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the developer of Blobber ("we", "us") about your use of the Blobber iOS application. By downloading or using Blobber, you agree to these Terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these Terms are silent.

1. What Blobber is

Blobber is a screen-time companion: it helps you block distracting apps with focus sessions, schedules, daily limits, open limits, and location zones, and shows you on-device attention reports. Blobber is a self-management tool — it is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a parental-control or surveillance product.

2. Your account

Blobber creates an anonymous account automatically to back up your progress; you may optionally link it with Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for the device and Apple ID you use with Blobber. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

3. Subscriptions (Blobber Premium)

4. Fair use

You agree not to misuse Blobber — including attempting to break its security, abusing the services behind it, reselling it, or using it to monitor another person without their knowledge and consent. Blobber is designed for managing your own screen time.

5. Screen Time permissions

Blobber only works with permissions you explicitly grant through Apple's Screen Time system. Blocking depends on iOS features we don't control; Apple's system behavior (including OS bugs, restarts, or permission changes) can affect blocking. Blobber is a commitment aid, not a guarantee — determined users can always disable permissions through iOS Settings.
